Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court in Ernakulam has ordered an investigation against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. This order comes in response to controversial " act of defence" remark made by the Chief Minister during the Nava Kerala Sadas.
The Chief Minister had referred to the attack carried out by DYFI activists and his security personnel against protesters at the Nava Kerala Sadas as an "act of defence".
The Ernakulam DCC president, Mohammed Shiyas, then filed a complaint stating that these remark served as an incitement to continue criminal activities. Based on this complaint, the Ernakulam CJM Court has directed the Ernakulam Central Police to conduct an investigation.
