Thalassery: An answer sheet of Kerala Technological University (KTU) has been reported missing from a valuation camp at the College of Engineering, Thalassery in Kerala. Thalassery Police have launched an investigation following a complaint filed in connection with the incident.
P. Nisha, the teacher who was part of the valuation process, lodged the complaint stating that the answer script of the subject ‘Power Electronics Drives’—a core paper for second-year Electrical Engineering students was found missing.

According to the complaint, the evaluators had stepped out for lunch during the valuation process. When they returned and resumed checking, they found that one student’s answer sheet was missing. The incident is said to have occurred between 1:30 pm and 2:15 pm on June 11.
Following the incident, a formal complaint was submitted to the Thalassery Police, who have since initiated an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, college authorities clarified that, as per university guidelines, answer scripts are required to be evaluated within the designated valuation room. They also noted that the missing script had been assessed in an adjacent room, deviating from the prescribed procedure.
Efforts to obtain a response from the complainant teacher were unsuccessful.
