Kalanjoor: Afsal, a youngster from Kalanjoor, was arrested for rash driving on Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway. He faced multiple charges for overspeeding, riding without helmet, and  performing unadvisable stunts. 

The police took action after the viral video of the incident came to their notice. The bike used for the unruly act was also taken into custody. A team led by CI Pushpa Kumar initiated action against Afsal, who was finally let off with a strict warning.
