Kochi: In a controversial act, the officer who was imprisoned in connection with the Palarivattom flyover scam case has been promoted. Mathrubhumi News has received a copy of the report.
Benny Paul, who was joint general manager in KITCO Ltd, has been promoted as general manager. According to the order issued on January 1, 2020, he will be permanent staff after serving one-year probation period.
Earlier, Benny Paul had spent 50 days in prison after the vigilance arrested him in connection with the Palarivattom flyover scam.
Sumit Goyal, former PWD secretary T O Sooraj and KITCO staff Thankachan also were imprisoned in this case.
