Thiruvananthapuram: In the light of recent Wayanad disaster, the government has decided to forgo the official Onam celebrations this year. However, Supplyco will proceed with Onam fairs as planned. Preparations are underway to launch these fairs at both district and taluk levels, starting in the first week of September.
This year, like last year, the Onam kit will be distributed exclusively to yellow card holders. In addition to this, the kits will also be made available to those in need, ensuring wider support during the festival season.
