Kochi: Kozhikode native Anjali Reema Dev, an accused in the POCSO case related to the No. 18 hotel here alleged that she is facing death threats. She said that six people are plotting against her and these people will be responsible for her death. Anjali can be heard saying in the video that she would never commit suicide and that this video should be considered as her death statement. She has raised allegations against politicians, and others without mentioning anyone directly by name.

I am being picturised as a bad woman in society for the past few days. These are based on allegations by one person. The complainant has raised many allegations against me. News articles against me came out based on these allegations. Why do I have to undergo character assassination? I am going through severe mental distress and have even thought about suicide. But my brother’s face comes to my mind. I have to prove my innocence, at least before him. 

There are six people who are plotting against me. This includes politicians, businessmen and others. I have forwarded the details of these people to the concerned authorities. Meetings and conspiracies against me are still ongoing. I have been suffering too much for things I have not done. 

Whatever happens to me, these six people must be investigated. All six of them must be punished for their crimes. They are picturing me in a bad way and associating it with the No 18 hotel matter to trap the owner, Roy. If anyone has a problem with him, why am I being dragged into this? Why are allegations being layered over me one after another? If I have committed something wrong, I will show the courage to own up to it and accept the punishment for it. If it is ever proven that the allegations by these people are false, then their agenda must be brought out and they must be punished. They might kill me, But I am not scared of death. I just want to reveal their true faces.
