Thiruvananthapuram: It has now come to light that SRIT, the company responsible for executing the state government's AI camera project, subcontracted Presadio Technologies even before finalizing the contract with Keltron.

Moreover, Presadio Technologies, based in Kozhikode, was provided with information about the government project even before SRIT had signed an agreement with Keltron. Subsequently, SRIT entered into a sub-contract with Presadio prior to signing a deal with Keltron.

Presadio Technologies came into the spotlight after the Opposition parties alleged that the father-in-law of Kerala Chief Minister's son has links with the company. Further, it was revealed that Presadio had undertaken several projects of Motor Vehicle Department.

SRIT signed a pact with Keltron on October 1, 2020. However, Presadio won the sub-contract from SRIT on September 12, 2020. Alhind Group in Kozhikode also became part of the deal.

Mediatronix and Trois Infotech, a tech company based in Thiruvananthapuram, sent a letter to persuade Keltron to enter into a contract with SRIT by promising technical support. The letter stated that SRIT was an authorized distributor for both companies.

However, after signing a contract with Keltron, SRIT did not sign a sub-contract with either of these companies. Instead, SRIT went on to sign a sub-contract with Presadio, and the director of Trois Infotech signed as a witness in the sub-contract with Presadio.
