Kozhikode: Congress MP M.K. Raghavan has called for the construction of a memorial for the late Malayalam literary giant, MT Vasudevan Nair, in his hometown of Kozhikode.

"There should be a memorial in Kozhikode for MT. The government should seriously consider it...He is the truth, beauty, and goodness of the Malayalam language. His language style can only be done by him. No one can get enough of reading his works. We have to complete the work MT started for the Malayalam language," he said.
