Alappuzha:  A fresh complaint has been filed against activist Rehana Fathima here on Wednesday. Her mother Pyari lodged a complaint with Alappuzha North police accusing her of mental and physical harassment. 

In her complaint, Pyari alleged that her daughter Rehana and son-in-law (Rehana’s ex-partner Manoj K Sreedhar) tortured her while residing at their flat in Ernakulam. Following this, she was forced to move to a relative’s house in Alappuzha.

“I had been staying at a relative’s house in Alappuzha for the past two months. However, Rehana rang up my relatives and threatened them,” Pyari said in her complaint.
Pyari, who said she was no longer interested in living with her daughter, demanded to warn Rehana from disturbing her relatives. 

On the basis of the complaint, Alappuzha North police summoned Rehana Fathima and warned her not to disturb her mother in any manner.
