Milma to step into bottled milk market with a focus on quality and freshness. Price expected above Rs 60 per litre

Thiruvananthapuram: Milma is set to enter the bottled milk segment for the first time, marking a strategic shift in its product offering. The move comes as private companies gain traction with bottled milk in the market.
In the initial phase, the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Union has set a target to sell 10,000 litres of bottled milk every day.
The milk will be supplied in high-quality, reusable one-litre plastic bottles. Once opened, the milk can be safely stored for up to three days without spoiling.
Currently, one litre of cover milk is priced at Rs. 56, while the bottled version is expected to be priced slightly higher, likely above Rs. 60. If there is a good response, the company plans to increase sales.
