
In Malappuram, it is suspected that the young person who recently died in Wandoor may have been infected with the Nipah virus. Preliminary tests conducted in Kozhikode have raised concerns, and the final result from the Pune Virology Lab is currently awaited.
The young man, who was studying in Bengaluru, had returned home after showing symptoms of jaundice. He received treatment for a week but sadly passed away at a private hospital in Perinthalmanna on Monday.
