Thiruvananthapuram: Following recent allegations made by MLA P. V. Anvar, a large-scale construction project has been found at Kowdiar in Thiruvananthapuram, intended for Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) M. R. Ajith Kumar. The construction site, covering an area of approximately 10 cents in a prime location in Thiruvananthapuram, is expected to cost crores.

The project includes an extensive mansion with numerous beams and pillars. On the site, detailed architectural plans of the house were found in an outhouse. The design of the mansion is attributed to 'STRIa architects'. The house plot is situated next to M. A. Yusuff Ali's helipad near Kowdiar Palace. The ADGP's brother has purchased 12 cents of land nearby as well. The area is known for its high land prices, with sometimes even square foot costing lakhs.

The Chief Minister has already announced an inquiry into the allegations made by P. V. Anvar. This investigation is expected to include scrutiny of Ajith Kumar’s property purchases and the financial sources used for building his luxury home. Anvar has alleged that Ajith Kumar is constructing a 12,000 square-foot multi-storied building and has raised serious claims involving gold looting and connections to the underworld. Anvar revealed details about the construction project at a press conference held on Monday.

MLA PV Anvar's allegations

Anvar had accused Ajith Kumar of being involved in gold smuggling operations that have led to killings. He had also claimed that Ajith Kumar may see a role model in drug lord Dawood Ibrahim.

Anvar went on to say, "It seems to me that M.R. Ajith Kumar's role model could be Dawood Ibrahim. For someone to reach the level of activities he is involved in, they would need to study the lives of people like Dawood Ibrahim and be attracted to that. M.R. Ajith Kumar appears to be influenced by such figures. Ajith Kumar has appointed an assistant and established a special system in the cyber cell specifically to tap the phone calls of ministers and politicians," he alleged.

“Is Ajith Kumar really aiding the government? I don't believe so," he had added.
