Kozhikode: The INL faction led by Kasim Irikkur stated that they are willing for compromise to resolve the disputes in the party. Kasim Irikkur reacted in this regard after a meeting with Kanthapuram.

We have accepted the LDF’s advice to stay united, Kasim Irikkur said. He told the media that they have opened all doors for peace-making and are taking efforts to communicate in all possible ways.

Earlier, the CPM had warned that if the INL split into two factions, both of them will be ousted from the front. Also Kanthapuram AP faction initiated discussions to end the disputes. Minister Ahammad Devarkovil also intervened to mediate the issues.

At first, Kasim Irikkur communicated with A P Abdul Wahab faction and met Kanthapuram. Later Kasim informed that they are willing to compromise. With this, it has been clear that further discussions will take place on the matter.
