Palakkad: KSRTC Palakkad depot’s tourism package named ‘Naattinpuram by Aanappuram’ became a huge hit and the depot conducted the 101st trip on Sunday.

K Babu MLA welcomed the passengers who arrived at the depot for the 100th and 101st one day trip to Nelliyampathy.

Palakkad depot has planned to launch more tour packages to explore the destinations in the district. The package ‘Gramayatra’ will begin on March 12 covering Chulliyar, Valayar and Palakkad ghat. The passengers can pre-book the trip in a 48 seated fast passenger.

The depot will roll out the Sagar Rani cruise tour package by March-end. Trips to Munnar and Wayanad will also begin from here.

The first one-day tourist service started from Palakkad on November 14, 2021. Over 4,000 passengers availed of the services to date. The passengers can rate the travel and post their comments over the trip on the website.
