Bus hostesses and premium facilities
The buses were purchased towards the end of the previous government’s term and were initially planned to be introduced as Business Class services. After the change in government, the service was renamed Executive Class.
A bus hostess, similar to an airline cabin crew member, will be available onboard. KSRTC Swift employees are expected to be assigned to the service.
Another bus purchased as part of the same initiative has already started operating on the Alappuzha-Bengaluru route.
The Executive Class buses come with several passenger amenities, including individual digital displays, mobile charging points and an onboard toilet.
The buses also feature semi-sleeper seats and a pantry for food service, offering passengers a more comfortable travel experience.
