Thiruvananthapuram: Adding fuel to the KSRTC driver- Mayor row, film actress Roshna Ann Roy has come forward claiming that the driver also made obscene remarks towards her. As per the note posted on social media, the driver, Yadu, made inappropriate remarks when Roshna was travelling in a car from Malappuram to Ernakulam with her brother.
The incident happened over ten months ago. While travelling through the area where road construction is going on, the KSRTc bus was behind her car, the actress wrote. The bus honked continuously and overtook the car in a dangerous manner. This was near Kunnamkulam where a ‘danger zone, go slow’ board was displayed, she said. Following this, the actress’ car that was now behind the bus, honked.
The bus driver Yadu, parked the bus on the middle of the road, came towards the actress’ car and spoke inappropriately, she wrote. Roshna said that he used obscene language without consideration of speaking to a woman and after this, drove the bus like heroes do in movies. She said she was able to identify the driver when she saw his pictures in the news following the controversy with the Mayor.
After a while when the bus stopped to pick up passengers, the actress’ car overtook. When they saw Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) officials on the roadside, they went and complained about the driver. Seeing this, the driver also got down and created a lot of drama in front of the officials. The officials then mediated and resolved the issue.
However, Roshna wrote that the pain and anger that she experienced when he spoke in such a manner was something that she couldn’t forget.
