Thiruvananthapuram: Resolving issues between KSEB management and officers is likely to take more time as the meeting chaired by electricity minister K Krishnankutty turned inconclusive.
The standoff between KSEB chairman B Ashok and pro-left union KSEB Officers' Association (KSEBOA) still continues but the minister maintains that he has directed the Board to resolve it soon. The minister also claimed that talks turned successful. However, the chairman who distanced from talks, attended the last day’s meeting.
The Board has been directed to resolve the issues including transfer of leaders of the association within a week.
The minister urged both the camps to be considerate. He pointed out that the standoff should not be prolonged and the due process should be taken without any rivalry.
Krishnankutty had separate talks. The minister had talks not just with CPM lenient association, but also with other eight associations. Following that he interacted with the KSEB chairman.
