
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) on Sunday issued a communiqué regarding the weather forecast. According to the communique, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy rainfall in select districts of Kerala on Wednesday and Thursday, prompting a yellow alert.
Yellow Alert (Heavy rainfall, ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours)
- December 18 (Wednesday): Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram
- December 19 (Thursday): Malappuram, Kozhikode
Residents in these districts are urged to stay alert and take necessary precautions during this period.
