Yellow alert in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki and Palakkad

For Monday, September 14, a yellow alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki and Palakkad.

People in these districts should exercise caution during periods of heavy rain. Travellers should check weather and local traffic conditions before setting out, particularly when travelling through areas that are vulnerable to waterlogging or other rain-related disruptions.

The alert does not indicate that heavy rain will occur everywhere in these districts. The forecast is for isolated heavy rainfall.

For Tuesday, September 15, the yellow alert covers Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad.
