The campaign, endorsed by Kerala's DGP, uses advanced AI storytelling to resonate with youth and combat drug abuse.

Bengaluru: Kerala Police’s recent “Say No to Drugs” public service film, produced using next-gen AI by Spark Originals, the creative studio of OneIndia, has won international recognition at the AI FilmFest Serbia 2025 and the Neuro Masters AI Film Festival 2025.
The campaign, developed in collaboration with Kerala Police, harnessed advanced AI storytelling to create a cinematic, emotionally resonant PSA aimed at combating youth drug abuse. The film’s innovative approach and social impact have set a new benchmark for digital public service communication in India.
“With Spark Originals, our goal was to show how AI-powered storytelling can break through the noise and make important social messages truly connect,” said Ravanan N, CEO, OneIndia. “We’re proud to help Kerala Police lead the way in reaching young audiences where they live: online, on their terms.”
Launched and personally endorsed by Kerala’s Director General of Police, Manoj Abraham (ADGP, Cyber Operations), the campaign has been widely shared across official Kerala Police digital platforms. Senior police leadership have called it “a powerful way to create awareness among the youth.”
Spark Originals by OneIndia leveraged proprietary AI tools to deliver a high-impact narrative, moving beyond traditional, didactic PSAs. The global recognition further underscores the rising significance of synthetic media in public messaging.
The campaign’s selection at both international AI film festivals not only highlights Spark Originals’ creative leadership but also India’s growing influence in the intersection of AI and social good.
