Malappuram: The Kerala health department has released the detailed route map of the 14-year-old boy who died of Nipah in the state. The health department has directed those who were present in the places indicated in the route map to inform the same to the Nipah control room. Although a preliminary route map was prepared earlier, a detailed route map has been released following the child’s death.
The child, a native of Pandikkad, near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram, died at 11:30 AM on July 21. His situation worsened when he suffered a heart attack at around 10:50 AM. Kerala Health Minister Veena George assured that there is no need for panic and that preventive measures are in place.
Currently, the health department has prepared a contact list of 350 people. Out of this, 101 people are in the high risk category. 68 people in the contact list are health workers. Masks have been made mandatory in public places in the district.

11 July: At 6:50 AM, he boarded a private bus called CPB from Chembrasseri bus stop. Between 7:18 AM and 8:30 AM at Bright Tuition Centre in Pandikkad.
12 July: Visited Dr Vijayan’s clinic (8:00- 8:30 AM) after taking an auto from home at 7:50 AM. Returned home by auto.
13 July: PKM hospital Pediatric OP (7:50- 8:30), Casualty (8:30- 8:45), Observation Room (8:45- 9:50), Canteen (10:15-10:30).
14 July: At home
15 July: Visited PKM hospital via auto in the morning. Casualty (7:15- 7:50 AM), Hospital Room ( 7:50- 6:20 PM). Ambulance to Maulana Hospital Casualty (6:50- 8:10), MRI room (8:10-8:50), emergency Department (8:50-9:15), Pediatric ICU (9:15) till 7:30 PM on July 17.
17 July: MRI room (7:37 AM to 8:20 PM) and Pediatric ICU (8:20 AM to 5:30 PM on July 19).
19 July: Taken to Mims Hospital Kozhikode in Ambulance at 5:30 PM.
