Kochi: The Kerala High Court has ordered further probe into Thalassery Fasal murder case in which CPM leaders Karayi Chandran and Karayi Chandrasekharan were booked. The court issued the order on a petition filed by Fasal’s brother Abdul Sathar.

In the petition, Abdul Sathar alleged that the accused who got arrested in the case are not the real culprits.

The court issued the order after observing the revelation of RSS worker Chembra native Subeesh. 
Subeesh revealed his involvement in Fasal murder when Kananvam police arrested him in connection with a murder. Subeesh confessed to the police that a gang including him murdered Fasal.

Earlier, the CBI court dismissed the petition seeking further probe into the case based on this revelation. CBI pointed out that the petition didn’t raise any arguments which prove lapses in the charge sheet filed by them.

CBI argued that Fasal’s brother submitted a petition seeking further probe as he supports the accused. The court handed over the case to CBI based on a complaint filed by Fasal’s wife.

Karayi Rajan, Karayi Chandrasekharan and Kodi Suni are the accused named in Fasal murder case. Fasal was killed on October 22, 2006.
