Political leader K B Ganesh Kumar has been removed from the NSS Board of Directors after the organisation declined to renew his membership amidst internal rifts.

Changanassery: In a major organizational blow, Kerala Congress (B) chairperson K B Ganesh Kumar has been removed from the Board of Directors of the Nair Service Society (NSS). The decision came after the community organisation's top leadership pointedly refused to renew his director board membership.
The terms of nine board members recently concluded, but while eight directors were granted automatic extensions, Ganesh Kumar was uniquely sidelined. The NSS leadership has moved quickly to fill the vacancy, inducting B R K Babu onto the board in his place.
The ouster marks a complete severing of ties between Ganesh Kumar and the influential community body, following his earlier removal from the Pathanapuram NSS Taluk Union. The local unit had been dissolved after widespread corruption allegations emerged regarding the construction of a 'Padma Cafe', prompting a mass resignation of more than half of its committee members.
Insiders note that the decision also cements a long-simmering fallout between Ganesh Kumar and NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair. The relationship had severely deteriorated recently after Ganesh Kumar publicly aired sharp criticisms targeting the top echelon of the NSS leadership.
