Kozhikode: Muslim League has denied reports that the party held discussions with Koduvally MLA Karat Razak. The Muslim League has not held any discussions with Karat Razak, said party general secretary KPA Majeed on his Facebook page.
“Reports which stated that Muslim League held discussions with Koduvally MLA Karat Razak is baseless. Neither me nor Kunhalikkutty have held any discussions with Razak. Such a situation does not exist. Some people are raising baseless allegations. I have not even seen him recently. I believe that such reports are part of a plan to create confusion among UDF cadre ahead of the Assembly polls,” said Majeed.
Earlier, there were reports quoting Karat Razak, who claimed that Congress state leaders worked as intermediaries as Muslim League leadership held discussions with him.
