Even after his death, 15-year-old Mihir continues to face cruel mockery. His mother Rajna took to Facebook to share her anguish, revealing that some individuals were still making derogatory remarks about her son’s death. She posted a deeply distressing video that had been circulated about Mihir, questioning the inhumanity of those responsible.
"Can you imagine the pain of a mother witnessing such cruelty?" she shared her anguish. Rajna expressed her devastation over the ongoing slander against Mihir, adding that every new revelation only made his suffering clearer. "It was this very cruelty that took his life," she wrote.
Earlier, in an Instagram post, she had shared evidence of the relentless bullying Mihir endured at school. Screenshots of messages showed students speaking about his death in an appallingly offensive manner. The post also detailed the unimaginable abuses he faced.
Among the most painful revelations was the nickname his tormentors had given him—"Poopyhead”. This was the name they mocked him with after subjecting him to horrific ragging. To make things worse, a group of students had even created a video trivialising his death, which has now been widely circulated.
Rajna vowed to fight until Mihir gets justice. "I will not stop until my son receives the justice he deserves. I need everyone to stand with me."
Following Mihir’s death, some of his classmates created an online group titled "Justice for Mihir”. Through this group and some of Mihir’s friends, the family received vital chat messages and other evidence. However, the group was deleted within two days, Mihir’s uncle Shareef had revealed. The school authorities were informed, but no notable action was taken, prompting the family to escalate the matter to the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police.
On Saturday, members of the Child Rights Commission gathered evidence in this regard. They also met with the police investigation team and questioned Mihir’s classmates, as well as his class teacher.
The family had also lodged a complaint regarding an Instagram page titled "Justice for Mihir”, which mysteriously disappeared. Reports suggest that the police have identified the students behind it.
