Amster Overseas owner Parvathy Maya approaches Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail amidst rising job fraud complaints in Kochi.

Kochi: Following a surge in complaints alleging fraud through promises of high-paying jobs abroad, Parvathy Maya Shaji, owner of the Kochi-based agency Amster Overseas, has approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
Justice C Jayachandran sought an explanation from the government on the petition. The petitioner had previously been arrested by the police but was granted bail by the trial court.
The anticipatory bail application was filed after the Palarivattom police registered more cases based on fresh complaints received after her release.
The petition requests, among other things, that any further proceedings against her be initiated only after issuing formal notice.
