A threat email warning of a “human bomb” at Muttam court triggers police action, with similar alerts reported across three other Kerala districts.

Muttam (Idukki): An email warning that a “human bomb” would explode at the District Sessions Court has sparked a security scare. The message, sent in the name of the Tamil Liberation Organisation (TNO), claimed that the blast would occur around 1.30 pm.
The email, bearing the name Muhammad Aslam Vikram, was received by authorities, prompting immediate police intervention. Officers from Muttam Police Station reached the court premises and began a security inspection.
Meanwhile, officials said similar threat emails were also reported at courts in Kasaragod, Wayanad and Malappuram.
An investigation into the origin and credibility of the threats is underway.
