Thrissur: Animal husbandry and dairy development minister J Chinchu Rani has said that a single window system will be introduced for farm licences for dairy farmers, considering their convenience. The minister gave this assurance at the dairy farmers’ adalat conducted at the Mannuthy veterinary college.
Approval of local self government, animal husbandry and dairy development departments and the pollution control board is required for the licence.
The government is planning to strengthen labs at the taluk level to accurately diagnose animal diseases.
A total of 281 complaints from 14 districts were received at the adalat. Of this, 165 were resolved and the rest will be settled at the directorate and government level.
