Kozhikode: Former leaders who faced actions in the MSF-Haritha dispute have been entrusted with leadership positions within the Youth League. This move comes after the Lok Sabha elections, wherein women leaders who endured disciplinary actions have been appointed to key roles, aligning with directives from the Muslim League State Committee.

Fathima Thahiliya, former State President of Haritha and former National Vice-President of MSF, assumes the role of State Secretary within the Youth League. Thahiliya's appointment marks a historic moment as the first woman to ascend to such a leadership position within the League.

Further augmenting the leadership list the Youth League National Committee has Ashique Chelavoor and Mufeeda Thesni as Vice Presidents, with Najma Thabsheera assuming the role of National Secretary. Thabsheera and Thesni both held positions within Haritha before their appointments.

Latheef Thurayoor, former State General Secretary of MSF, embroiled in controversy for his support of women students during the Haritha dispute, has been reinstated as the National Vice President of MSF. Thurayoor, previously expelled from the party, was reinstated shortly before the elections.
