Thrissur: Mohanan Vaidyar was arrested for giving fake treatment for Coronavirus (COVID-19) here on Wednesday.

He was arrested soon after his Ayurveda treatment centre at Pattikkad in Thrissur was raided by police and health department officials.

The raid was conducted after the authorities received a secret information that Mohanan Vaidyar was giving treatment for COVID-19.

Following this, a case was charged against him and he was arrested from his clinic.
