Adoor (Pathanamthitta): In a miraculous incident, a 54-year-old woman who was living in the pain of her son's death gave birth to twins. Pathanamthitta Vadasserikkara native Kumari and her 64-year-old husband Sreedharan were blessed with two offsprings after their only son died two years ago.

Kumari gave birth to the twins after undergoing fertility treatment at Lifeline hospital in Kollam. The treatment was under the leadership of Infertility Specialist Dr K Pappachan. After the course of treatment, Kumari delivered a boy and a girl the other day.

The couple who were heartbroken after their son's death, never expected they would be able to have children at this age. They are overjoyed after the babies were born. Their treatment and delivery was under the supervision of Dr Syriac Pappachan, Dr B Prasannakumari, Dr Jesna Hasan and Dr Sheeja P Varghese.
