Thiruvananthapuram: The disciplinary action issued against Vande Bharat’s Chief Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE), GS Padmakumar, following a complaint lodged by Speaker A.N. Shamseer for misconduct, has been removed. The action against Chief TTE Padmakumar was lifted after protests from the employee union.
Padmakumar was initially removed from Vande Bharat duties based on a complaint that he behaved rudely towards the Speaker. The incident occurred on July 30 in Ernakulam.
No official explanation has been provided by the railways regarding the matter. However, information about the disciplinary action was conveyed from the office of the Thiruvananthapuram Railway DRM to the Speaker's office. This led to the revelation of the disciplinary action, sparking protests from union leaders.
