KPCC working presidents Shafi Parambil, AP Anil Kumar and PC Vishnunath, who are currently in Delhi, will also return to Kerala along with Deepa Das Munshi

New Delhi: As discussions over who will become Kerala’s next Chief Minister continue to intensify, AICC general secretary in charge of the state, Deepa Das Munshi, is heading to Kerala. She is scheduled to leave Delhi on a 3:15 pm flight and reach Thiruvananthapuram by around 6:30 pm.
KPCC working presidents Shafi Parambil, AP Anil Kumar and PC Vishnunath, who are currently in Delhi, will also return to Kerala along with Deepa Das Munshi.
No further details have officially emerged regarding her Kerala visit. However, indications suggest that Deepa Das Munshi may hold discussions with the Indian Union Muslim League.
Despite securing a massive victory in the Assembly elections, the Congress has still not announced who will become the next Chief Minister of Kerala. The delay is reportedly due to the strong claims and lobbying by VD Satheesan, KC Venugopal and Ramesh Chennithala for the top post.
