Thiruvananthapuram: Due to the influence of ‘Mocha’ cyclone, Kerala is likely to receive rainfall till May 17, announced the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Yellow alerts have also been sounded in Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts on May 17.
There are no restrictions for fishing activities in Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep beaches.
However, as winds of 60 kmph are likely in the Tamil Nadu, Kanyakumari, Gulf of Mannar and Sri Lanka beaches, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
