Thiruvananthapuram: CPM continues to protect its MLA M Mukesh who is embroiled in sexual assault cases. The party has given instructions to the Kollam legislator that there is no need to resign from the post. The party has also suggested that he refrain from reacting to the public.
The party state secretariat also accepted Mukesh's contention that the case against him was fabricated and that he had evidence to prove it. After this, the entire party is seen rallying behind Mukesh in the state committee meeting. Mukesh will proceed with the legal case against the complainants.
