Karunagappalli: Amritanandamayi Math made it clear that restrictions imposed at the Math was as per the instructions from the health departments of central and state governments.

Amritanandamayi said that the people are totally concerned over the spread of Coronavirus. Everyone should understand the seriousness of situation and cooperate with preventive measures. Even the slightest negligence on our part can result in huge disaster, she added.

“For the past 45 years, I have never skipped any programme due to physical ailments, fear of epidemics or calamities. But as this disease spreads all over the world, we have to comply with the instructions of the authorities. Let us take necessary precautions and keep praying,” Amritanandamayi said.
