Idukki: Kerala Cooperative Societies (Second Amendment) Bill, 2022 introduced in the state assembly will be legislated only after discussions with the stakeholders, said Kerala Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine said. The minister also said that the state has achieved proud accomplishments in the field of cooperation.
He was inaugurating a seminar on the topic ‘Central-state cooperative amendment’ during the Kerala cooperative federation state conference.
Former planning board member CP John said that the bill has been introduced to focus on officials, instead of further decentralising cooperation.
Cooperative federation chairman CN Vijayakrishnan presided over the event.
