Ollur (Thrissur): A young man’s compassion saved the lives of 10 puppies here on Saturday. Padavaradu native Jijo Davis stopped his bike when he saw ten one-month-old puppies entering playfully to the National Highway near Thiruvanikkavu temple.

It is assumed that the puppies have been abandoned by someone on the highway during the night.

Though Jijo was rushing for some official reasons, he was forced to stop the bike and rescue the puppies after wrestling with his conscience.

He took the puppies to his home and gave proper care to them. He also gave a few puppies to those who wanted to adopt them
