New Delhi: The Australian High Commission to India and Ambassador to Bhutan marked International Yoga Day in a unique way - by incorporating puppies into their yoga session. The commission's official X account shared a heartwarming post featuring furry friends joining in on the practice.

International Yoga Day, observed annually on June 21, promotes the ancient Indian practice of yoga and its benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The post read, "In the land that gifted the world yoga, we decided to bring a little paw-sitivity to our practice!" The playful addition of puppies added a delightful twist to the traditional yoga practice, highlighting the importance of joy and companionship in wellness. "This International Yoga Day, we rolled out our mats for a wholesome puppy yoga session with some furry friends. It reminded us: wellness works best with a wag & a smile," he added.

This year's International Yoga Day celebrated with the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health," highlights the profound benefits of yoga for personal wellness and mindfulness.
