Kozhikode: As the search continued for Arjun, the Malayali lorry driver missing since a landslide near Ankola in Karnataka on Wednesday, the news of presence of a lorry in the Gangavali River on the ninth day since his disappearance has brought relief to those anxiously awaiting updates.

Amidst these developments, a diary entry of a second grader from Kozhikode has now gone viral on social media.

Ishan, a second grader from East SB School in Vadakara, Kozhikode District, highlights the emotional impact of Arjun's disappearance even on the younger generation. Education Minister V Sivankutty shared Ishan's heartfelt words on Facebook, where the young boy expressed his sadness and hopes for Arjun's safe return.

"Today is a sad day for me. Arjun, who travelled from Kerala to Karnataka in his lorry, has gone missing in a landslide. My father is also a driver. May God keep him safe," Ishan wrote.
