Thiruvalla: A police case has been charged against activist Rehana Fathima after a video was circulated in social media in which her children are seen painting on her naked body. Thiruvalla police took action on the basis of a complaint filed by OBC Morcha state general secretary Adv A V Arun Prakash.
Non-bailable offences have been charged as per IT Act and Juvenile Justice Act. Thiruvalla DYSP T Rajappan said that they will take further action with the help of Cyber Cell. Rehana posted the video titled 'Body and Politics' on YouTube and Facebook the other day.
Rehana's minor son and daughter were seen drawing pictures on her naked body in the video. She posted the video along with the caption that the society can be changed only if matters about sexuality and female body are taught at home itself.
