Thiruvananthapuram: The cabinet meeting on Thursday will discuss the demands of the protesting traders who threatened the government to open stores defying the Covid-19 regulations. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s last-minute intervention on Wednesday averted embarrassment to the government. The traders were assured that their demands will be considered.
Certain regulations have reached their threshold, the government believes. However, since the TPR hasn’t dipped below 10, more relaxations will not be declared.
The cabinet may also consider the issues of film production in indoor and outdoor sets and also allow more relaxations for Bakrid.
