Ranni (Pathanamthitta): In a dramatic incident today, a powerful gust of wind caused an areca nut tree to topple onto the Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway near the Thottamankavu Devi Temple here. Miraculously, bikers passing through narrowly escaped harm as the tree fell just as they rode past.
The incident, which occurred at noon on Monday, unfolded remarkably. The bikers navigating through the windy conditions managed to avoid disaster by a mere second and drove safely around the fallen obstacle, avoiding any injuries or damage.
Despite the tree obstructing their path momentarily, the riders maintained control of their bike and swiftly resumed their journey unharmed. The video of the incident is doing the rounds.
