Rijohn had previously played as a defender for Forca Kochi in the last Super League Kerala season.

Kozhikode: Footballer Rijohn Jose, 29, died and another player was injured after two motorcycles collided on the Gandhi Road flyover in Kozhikode late Sunday night, police said.
Rijohn, a native of Ollur in Thrissur and a player for Calicut FC, had come to Kozhikode as the team prepared for the upcoming Super League Kerala (SLK), which begins on September 25.
The injured footballer was identified as Gani Ahammed Nigam. He was reported to be in stable condition.

Accident on Gandhi Road flyover
The accident occurred around 10.40 pm near Christian College, according to police.
The motorcycle carrying Rijohn and Nigam collided with another two-wheeler travelling in the opposite direction. Both footballers fell onto the road, with Rijohn suffering serious injuries.
They were taken to a nearby hospital, where Rijohn was declared dead.
Rijohn had represented Forca Kochi as a defender in the previous edition of the Super League Kerala.
Both players were in Kozhikode for Calicut FC's preparations ahead of the new SLK season.

Case registered
Following a complaint from Calicut FC manager, Nadakkavu police registered a case against the rider of the other motorcycle.
Rijohn's body will be handed over to his relatives after postmortem, police said.
