Actor Lalu Alex recently shared a social media post recalling his experience of participating in the Kerala School Arts Festival. Remembering the first time he stepped onto a stage in Class 6, the actor advised young artists of the new generation never to aim only for prizes. He urged them to believe in their own art. Now, as a continuation, the actor has come out with another post.

“Children are not the problem. The mindset of parents and teachers needs to change. They should receive proper awareness and training. Parents must become capable of giving children the right direction. I’m telling this with love,” wrote Lalu Alex.

The post was shared in the backdrop of the inauguration of the 64th State School Kalolsavam in Thrissur. In his earlier note, Lalu Alex had addressed his young brothers and sisters competing in various events during the festival days: “Practise well. But more importantly, believe in your own art. Do not chase prizes. If your performance can touch the human mind, that itself is the greatest victory,” he wrote.

“Some will get first place, some second and third. Some may not even hear their names called. Never lose heart. Do not lose self-confidence. Practise again and again. In the next Kalolsavam, present a performance that will make the world notice you. The future world is yours. Fly high, beyond dreams and fears, beyond the skies,” Lalu Alex added.
