Thiruvananthapuram: Two persons went missing while taking bath in Azhimala sea. The body of one of them was recovered later. The deceased was identified as Peyadu native Prasanth Kumar.

The incident took place on Monday at 7 am. Prasanth and his friend were bathing in the sea when they were washed away by the waves. Though the fisherfolk present saw them drift away, they could not spot them as it was a rocky area.

Following this, the fisherfolk and coastal police conducted a search operation and found the body of one of the persons. Deceased Prasanth was a sound engineer.
