Varapuzha: A biker died in an accident as a car collided with a bike on the Varapuzha bridge. The deceased has been identified as Nawaz Khader (49), a resident of Edapally, Ernakulam. The accident happened on National Highway 66 at 6 am on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred when the car lost control while coming from Edapally to Varapuzha on the national highway and hit Nawaz's bike. The car then fell from a height of 15 feet. There were two people in the car, including the driver. They were pulled out by locals and passengers who broke open the car. Both were admitted to the emergency department of Aster Medcity Cheranelloor.
The car lost control, crashed into another car coming from the opposite direction, and overturned. The occupants of this car escaped unhurt. The car hit the median, damaging its front end. Under the leadership of Varapuzha ASI Joseph, the police arrived and took the accident victims to the hospital.
The deceased, Nawaz, owned a chicken business. The accident occurred while he was going for a delivery in Varapuzha. He is survived by his mother, Fatima Khader, his wife, Jasmine, and his children, Ijaz, Jihas, and Iz Muhammad.
