Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Limited has appointed Parminder Singh as CEO, with Akash Ambani highlighting the move as key to building India’s enterprise AI capabilities.

Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Limited (REIL), a joint venture between Reliance Intelligence Limited and Facebook Overseas Inc., has appointed Parminder Singh as its Chief Executive Officer.
The move marks a key step in building India’s enterprise artificial intelligence ecosystem, with the venture backed by Reliance and Meta.

Who is Parminder Singh?
Parminder Singh is a senior technology leader with decades of experience across global companies. He is widely recognised in the Asia-Pacific region for leading digital transformation and scaling technology-driven businesses.
Over his career, he has held leadership roles at major firms including Google, Apple, Twitter, and IBM, building expertise across digital strategy, marketing and innovation.

Leadership roles and recent ventures
Before taking up the new role, Singh served as Chief Commercial and Digital Officer at Mediacorp in Singapore, where he led a large-scale digital and AI transformation.
More recently, he co-founded ClayboxAI, an AI-focused advisory firm aimed at improving AI adoption and understanding, along with WeKamp, an AI-powered community platform currently in its early stages.
According to his professional profile, Singh completed his MBA from Panjab University in 1993. He began his career at HCL as a regional sales manager and went on to hold senior leadership roles, including country sales head at Apple, general manager (marketing) at IBM, and managing director at Google.
Vision for enterprise AI in India
Speaking about his new role, Singh described enterprise AI as an immediate opportunity rather than a future concept. He emphasised the need for a trusted AI partner that understands both technology and business needs.
He highlighted that the collaboration between Reliance’s digital infrastructure and Meta’s technology capabilities creates a strong foundation for building AI solutions at scale.
Akash Ambani noted that Singh brings a combination of global experience and regional insight, making him well-suited to lead the venture. The appointment is seen as a major step in positioning REIL as a key player in enterprise AI, not just in India but globally.
The venture aims to develop advanced AI solutions for businesses, leveraging the strengths of both Reliance’s Jio ecosystem and Meta’s technology platforms.
