London: Krishangi Meshram, a 21-year-old law graduate of Indian origin, has made global headlines by becoming one of the youngest solicitors to qualify in England and Wales in recent years. Her inspiring journey from West Bengal to the heights of the UK’s legal profession has captured the attention of aspiring legal minds worldwide.
Raised in the ISKCON Mayapur community of West Bengal and currently based in the UAE, Meshram began her legal education at just 15. She enrolled with The Open University in Milton Keynes and completed her LLB with First Class Honours by 18, becoming the youngest law graduate in the university’s history.
“I'm incredibly thankful that The Open University gave me the opportunity to begin my LLB studies at the age of 15,” she shared.
Her remarkable rise continued in 2022, when she secured a position at an international law firm. Since then, she has amassed global experience, including time in Singapore and further academic development through Harvard Online programmes.
Meshram’s legal interests focus on cutting-edge sectors such as fintech, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and private client services like wills and probate. She aims to specialise in legal services for both businesses and individuals, with aspirations to work at top-tier firms in the UK or UAE.
