US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Tuesday and discussed ways to deepen strategic cooperation between Washington and New Delhi.

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Tuesday held talks with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, with discussions centred on strengthening strategic cooperation between India and the United States.
Gor described the meeting as 'fruitful' and underlined the significance of the two countries' partnership in tackling global security challenges.
In a post on X, the US envoy said Washington and New Delhi have several shared objectives and stressed that engagement between the two countries is continuing to expand.
The meeting comes amid a series of high-level diplomatic interactions between India and the US.
A day earlier, Gor met Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to discuss India-US bilateral ties. The ambassador shared a brief update after the meeting but did not disclose details of the discussions.
Gor's meeting with Doval also comes two days after US Vice President JD Vance spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone.
The recent engagements come as both countries continue to focus on strategic cooperation and broader bilateral ties.
